In-house Major League Softball

Our major league includes several teams of players in grades 3-4 with emphasis on development. While many of our players enter the major leagues after experience in our minor league, players of all levels and abilities are welcome.

  • MN Softball has changed their age cutoffs starting in 2024 to be more by grade.  We are modeling our Majors in-house league to reflect that change by making Majors similar to a "10U MN Softball League"
  • The Major League will play two games per week.  Days of week are TBD.  We will update the website as soon as those days are confirmed.
  • There will be one practice per week and each team will have its own practice run by a coach. Practice days are at the coach's discretion.
  • Player Pitch League.
  • 11 inch hard softballs will be used in this league, same as 10U MN Softball leagues.
  • There will be pitching clinics this spring to help with the transition.
  • End of season tournament (we will update the website with the date as soon as it is confirmed).
  • Goals:  Increasing knowledge of the game while continuing to develop skills.  Introduction to pitching, catching, leading off, stealing bases
